  1. SetNode is an example of a cdev.  What it does is set the node
  2. hints in parameter RAM.  The Port B (printer) hint is used by 
  3. AppleTalk as a "First Attempt" at choosing a node ID when a 
  4. Mac boots on AppleTalk.

  6. To build SetNode in Lightspeed C, choose the Build Code Resource 
  7. from the Project menu.  Then, using ResEdit or similar tool, 
  8. ensure that the resulting file's type is set to 'cdev', the 
  9. creator is set to 'jHNt', and the 'Bundle' bit is set.
