- SetNode is an example of a cdev. What it does is set the node
- hints in parameter RAM. The Port B (printer) hint is used by
- AppleTalk as a "First Attempt" at choosing a node ID when a
- Mac boots on AppleTalk.
-
- To build SetNode in Lightspeed C, choose the Build Code Resource
- from the Project menu. Then, using ResEdit or similar tool,
- ensure that the resulting file's type is set to 'cdev', the
- creator is set to 'jHNt', and the 'Bundle' bit is set.
